Faizaan Somani scored highest points in World Education Games 2012 (Science and Spelling Contests) throughout QSI International School of Bishkek and entire Kyrgyzstan. He also scored second highest points in Maths contest. This was his first experience with the World Education Games, organized online and hosted at Australia. More than 5.9m participants from 240 countries/territories registered for the event and more than 1.57m participated in the event organized on 6-8 March 2012.
Reflecting on his performance, Faizaan wrote: “I enjoyed the World Education Games as it was a very good learning experience and I improved my knowledge of science, mental maths and vocabulary. I also improved my typing skills. This was my first experience with the World Education Games and I am very happy that I got highest points in all the events in my age group within the school as well as highest points in World Science Day and World Spelling Day and second highest points in World Maths Day in my entire school (QSI International School of Bishkek). I also got the highest points in entire Kyrgyzstan! It was a really fun and educational adventure.”
