Karen Armstrong in Vancouver to talk about compassion and religion - Speaks at Ismaili Centre BurnabyKaren Armstrong, an internationally renowned British author and commentator on religion, will be hosted by the SFU Morris J. Wosk Centre for Dialogue from March 19 – 30 to hold a city-wide series of discussions on compassion. She makes the case that unless society grasps the social and political role that compassion must play, conflicts will extract a growing toll in human suffering.
