Stories of Compassion: Compassion and Volunteerism through the Ismaili Walk

Stories of Compassion: Compassion and Volunteerism through the Ismaili WalkThe Ismaili Walk was founded in 1992 by the Ismaili Muslim Community of BC and over the past 20 years, has partnered with a wide array of local community organizations to raise awareness and funds to further the mandate of partner organizations.

The Ismaili Walk also inspires individuals to show compassion for others by giving their time, raising awareness about social issues, providing support to those in need, and putting the ethics of volunteering into action.

Volunteers dedicate their time and efforts to supporting local projects in the Lower Mainland, thereby playing a key role in laying the foundation for building a strong city, from the community up.
