Ottawa, 12 January 2012 — Mawlana Hazar Imam has arrived in Canada, landing this evening in Ottawa, where he was received by Vazir Mohamed Manji, President of the Ismaili Council for Canada, and other Jamati leaders. At a special convocation ceremony to be held tomorrow, Hazar Imam will be awarded an honorary doctorate by the University of Ottawa for his service to humanity.
