CHITRAL: The death toll from Thursday’s flash floods rose to 13 as three more bodies were recovered from various areas of Ochusht Gol area Friday.
The late-night flood caught people suddenly and destroyed several houses, a mosque and fruit orchards. Bodies of 13 people including five women were recovered after hectic efforts while three people were still missing, a police official said.

The residents said household belongings worth millions of rupees and cereals including wheat and cattle head along with three cars were also washed away.The Health Department set up a medical camp in the affected area and started treating the injured. The Aga Khan Health Services Programme had also provided a mobile dispensary to the area.
