You are invited to meet Dr. Eboo Patel, founder of the Interfaith Youth Core, on Friday, Nov.14, 10:30-11:45 a.m. at the Wesley Foundation, 526 Jamestown Road (across from Jamestown Halls). The event is free and open to all.
Youth Core is a Chicago-based international nonprofit working to build mutual respect and pluralism among religiously diverse young people by empowering them to work together to serve others. Dr. Patel is the author of Acts of Faith: The Story of an American Muslim, the Struggle for the Soul of a Generation (Beacon Press, 2007), and is on the forefront of developing social change among social entrepreneurs and community leaders.
