In your name there is power,

In your name, sanctuary.

We don’t say to You our afflictions are great,

We say to our troubles and tribulations

Our Shah Karim is indeed great.

In your name there is greatness,

In your name there is strength.

 

In your name there is mercy,

In your name there is pardon.

Our world may be turned upside down

Yet we hold strong to rope of You;

We pray for guidance, we pray for solution.

In your name, we fortify,

In your name, we help and heal.

 

In your name there’s sanctity,

In your name, enlightenment.

Humbled we are by disruption to normalcy,

Forgiveness we beseech in time of strife;

Distanced we are physically, closer we aim to be spiritually.

In your name we thus submit,

In your name we sublimate.

 

In your name we celebrate,

In your name accomplish.

You’re the inspiration behind every aspiration,

You’re the motivation behind every action,

This Navroz resolution begins with You.

In your name we thus proceed,

In your name we thus succeed.

 

In your name we must hold true,

In your name we must have faith.

You have blessed us to have no problems

So nothing now presents as problems;

This Mantra we take into our new year.

In your name there is hope,

In your name there is peace…
