Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan forms National Youth Council @AKF_Global @AKDN

For the first time in the history of Pakistan, the National Youth Council has been established by Prime Minister Imran Khan. According to a notification issued by cabinet division, PM Imran Khan will be the patron-in-chief and Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs Usman Dar will be the chairman of the 33-member youth council.

Besides all provincial ministers for youth affairs, Influential youths from the fields of sports, education, religion, economy, and arts and culture have also been named to this council.

“The council’s agenda will be uplifting youths for development and prosperity…Youths will be added to the decision-making process at the national level. The council will coordinate and work jointly with provincial governments and the federal government.”  Usman Dar (Special Adviser to the Prime Minister on Youth Affairs).

Four members from the Ismaili Muslim community have been named to serve on this council.
